Mayweather however, is a defensive genius in the ring, and rarely ever gets hit, as he dances around and lands nothing but flush shots.
Marquez, a former featherweight, is moving up in weight significantly to take this bout, and will maintain a strategy that falls right into Mayweather’s hands. The boxing lines are correct in favoring the brash American heavily, as every opponent he has ever faced has employed an aggressive game plan, and all have fallen victim to his wizardry.
The “experience factor” will also likely be negated in this case. Marquez may have been fighting during Floyd’s layoff, but he was also taking an enormous amount of punishment, while Mayweather was relaxing in his mansion!
