The fight will be a contrast of styles that boxing betting fans are used to seeing. In one corner, we’ll have Andre Berto, who is the skilled, technical, disciplined boxer. In the other, we’ll have Juan Urango, who is the brawler with power.

Berto reminds a lot people of young Shane Moseley and interestingly enough, if Berto wins this fight one of the guys he might target could be Sugar Shane.

Berto has quick hands and often can beat anyone to the punch. He also has decent power for a guy who is often described as a poised technician. Berto has 19 knockouts in 24 fights.

On the flip side, Urango’s hands don’t have the same speed but they do have the power. He may not be planning to go the distance and he might not have to if he can get a few flurries in.

The key to this fight will be how Berto deals with Urango’s pressure. Berto has yet to face a fighter that brings the kind of straight-ahead game that Urango will and that will be somewhat of a wildcard.

But Berto is a poised fighter and online betting handicappers know that in a fight between a boxer and a brawler, the boxer wins.

The rare case is the time when the brawler connects with a home run hit. Berto will have to be conscious of that and avoid it. But the main difference will be the discipline.

Urango has the tendency to open himself up when he aims for his big hits and Berto is the perfect boxer to take advantage of that. Berto just needs to remain calm and wait for his openings, which he’s good at.

The fight should be entertaining as Urango isn’t one to move around the ring and pick his spots. He’ll be aggressive and engage Berto at every opportunity.

But Berto is the better boxer, and that will be the difference on Saturday.
