Kings XI Punjab (+110) have it all ahead of them in today’s second match of the double-header fixture against Chennai Super Kings (-150) .
Kings (P13/W7/L6), who are on 14 points and sit in fourth spot on run rate, not only have to win today’s match but they then must have results go their way if they are to secure a semi-final spot.
No team wants to be in a position whereby they have to rely on other teams to lose to make a semi-final berth but that just goes to show how close this year’s tournament has been.
