Deutsche Bank Championship at TPC Boston in Norton, Mass.

And for those doing some FedExCup postseason a little more intrigue heading to September.

Steve Stricker won the first playoff tournament last week, Rory Sabbatini, who ended up in third place at The Barclays, is 250 points behind Choi, while the inactive Woods dropped to fourth place.

Mark Calcavecchia, Vijay Singh missed the cut and didn’t pick up any points.

So after one FedExCup playoff event here’s how the race for that trophy is looking:

01 Steve Stricker --- 104,950

02 K.J. Choi --- 102,900

03 Rory Sabbatini --- 100,650

04 Tiger Woods --- 100,000

05 Phil Mickelson --- 99,613

06 Vijay Singh --- 99,000

07 Jim Furyk --- 98,850

08 Zach Johnson --- 97,350

09 Adam Scott --- 97,150

10 Ernie Els --- 96,967

Singh and Scott (who finished in 14th place at The Barclays and picked up 900 points) are both past winners of the Deutsche Bank Championship – Singh in 2004, and Scott in 2003. The oddsmakers at BetUS sportsbook ave them in the second tier of contenders on the golf odds list for this week’s event, with Singh at +2000 odds and Scott back at +2500.

Other top golf odds to get the win at TPC Boston this week include Mickelson (+2000), Justin Rose (+2500), Choi (+2800), Furyk (+2800), and Ogilvy (+2800). Stricker might be the standings leader right now, but the oddsmakers have him farther back on the list at just +5000 to get the win. Els was listed high on the odds list, but he will miss this week’s event to spend time with his family. Here are the other contenders:

Justin Rose +2500
