PGA Golf Odds - John Deere Classic, TPC Deere Run

John Senden won the Classic last year by one-stroke over J.P. Hayes. Alex Cejka and Heath Slocum finished yet one more stroke back, followed by John Riegger.

The winners from 2005 through 2000 were, respectively: Sean O’Hair, Mark Hensby, Vijay Singh, J.P. Hayes, David Gossett and Michael Clark II.

At 21st-place, Woody Austin is the second-highest ranked golfer in the field but his odds of winning are only +3000. He won the Buick Open but he has also missed two cuts in his past four tournaments.

Lucas Glover’s winning odds are +2200, while Tim Clark and Anthony Kim are tied at +2500. Glover has finished 10th and 12th in his last two tournaments (Buick Open and AT&T National, respectively) and, statistically, is the 40th-ranked golfer on Tour.

Statistically, Kim is the Tour’s 3rd-ranked all-around golfer. He has the 5th-highest number of birdies this year and is the Tour’s 9th-longest driver. By contrast, South Africa’s Clark is, statistically, the 105th-ranked golfer on Tour.
