Picking the winner of a golf tournament is always a tough challenge for BetUS online sportsbook betting fans. Often times, the winner of the tournament can be found among the long shots in the sportsbook.

But making the top four in a golf tournament is something that favorites usually do with ease which is why picking a golfer to finish in the top four in the Honda Classic this week should provide profits to bettors.

Let’s analyze which golfers have the best chance of finishing in the top four.

Golf: Honda Classic Top Four

1. Sergio Garcia +200 - - The tournament favorite should be able to at least get in the top four. Garcia won’t have to worry about his top four rivals, Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods, Padraig Harrington and Vijay Singh, which means he should have no trouble ending the tournament in at least fourth place. At 2 to 1, this is actually a very good bet.

2. Camilo Villegas +250 - - The top threat to Sergio in the Honda Classic is Camilo Villegas who has a shot to actually win the tournament. Finishing in the top four should be a slice for Villegas who no doubt can play with Garcia and no doubt will be at his best for this tournament.

3. Boo Weekley +500 - - The golf odds on Boo to finish in the top four are actually extremely kind. Weekley could turn it on in a moment’s notice and take down the top prize in the Honda Classic. 5 to 1 are nice odds on such a fine golfer.

4. Robert Allenby +350 - - Allenby should be able to hit the greens and get enough birdies to put himself into contention on Sunday. If he does, then his style says that he could very well finish in the top four.

5. Luke Donald +400 - - Donald’s consistency says that he at least has a shot to finish in the top four in the Honda Classic. Donald doesn’t make many mental errors that cost him shots and lead to bogies. Par might be good enough to get him close on Sunday. That’s when Donald should turn it on enough to have a chance at the top four.

6. Stewart Cink +500 - - It makes more sense to bet Cink to finish in the top four after his fantastic run in the WGC Accenture last week than it does to bet Cink to win. Cink can play well enough to finish in the top four and the odds are actually pretty good. He’s yet another that bettors should think about to finish in the top four.

Best Long Shots

Angel Cabrera +1200 - - 12 to 1 are very nice odds on a golfer that could really shine in the Honda Classic. Cabrera could have a big day and we must remember that all he has to do is finish in the top four, not actually win the tournament.

Carl Pettersson +1400 - - Pettersson can turn it on almost any time he wants which means he should be in position to finish in the top four in this. Okay, maybe “should” is too strong of a word, but at 14 to 1, he’s a definite player.

Chris DiMarco +2000 - - 20 to 1 on a golfer that once in a while could pull off an upset to finish in the top four might be too good to pass up. DiMarco is sort of due for a good tournament. The Honda Classic might be it.
