Honda Classic Props - The Cats Away so the Mice can Play

No BetUS online sportsbook betting fans will have to look elsewhere for the winner of the $5,600,000 Honda Classic.
Woods would have been a huge favorite in the Honda Classic. With Woods not joining the fray, favoritism falls to Sergio Garcia.
Can Sergio bring home the top prize in the Honda Classic?
Let’s analyze which golfers are the best bets to win the Honda Classic.
Golf Odds: Honda Classic To Win
1. Camilo Villegas +1200 - - Villegas is an exceptional golfer. Because he’s going off as the second choice in the sportsbook to win the Honda Classic, it goes to reason that the BetUS odds makers believe he has a shot. He should put a decent scare into Garcia and maybe even win the tournament outright by the end of Sunday. I like Villegas to pull off the slight upset because he’s going off at bigger odds than Sergio.
2. Sergio Garcia +1000 - - Things appear to be in Garcia’s favor this week. No Tiger and No Padraig means that Garcia is no doubt the man on the links in the Honda Classic. But Garcia has been very, very good before and come away empty handed. That shouldn’t happen in this tournament. A top four finish is likely. A win is likely as well.
3. Robert Allenby +1800 - - Allenby appears poised to make a nice run for the winner’s share of the purse in the Honda Classic. He’ll have to find a way to beat both Garcia and Villegas but he’s a good enough golfer to get himself into the final top four pairings on Sunday. That might be enough if Garcia, or Villegas for that matter, implode on the course.
4. Andres Romero +3500 - - I actually like the chances of Romero more than I like the chances of Els in this tournament. Romero can be excellent on the course if he’s thinking clearly and his drivers going. Don’t be surprised if this fella puts in a great effort at those very nice betting odds.
5. Luke Donald +2000 - - Donald is quietly becoming one of the most consistent golfers on the tour. He’s going off at better odds than Allenby, Garcia and Villegas. That’s a definite plus since he’s not too far away from those three in terms of his ability to win this tournament. Donald is a nice play at 20 to 1.
6. Boo Weekley +2500 - - Weekley could have a fantastic tournament and pull off the upset at 25 to 1. He’s a definite player if he’s at 5 strokes or less behind the leaders going into Sunday. That’s when Boo should turn it on and make some good things happen! He’s yet another good wager at nice odds.
Best Long Shots
D.J. Trahan +4000 - - Trahan hasn’t been as good as some bettors expected him to be so far, but he could turn things around in a big way in the Honda Classic. Besides Sergio and Camilo Villegas, the heavy hitters are on the bench for this one. Trahan is good enough to beat Sergio and Villegas which means he’s a logical contender at nice odds.
Carl Pettersson +7000 - - At 70 to 1 it’s tough to look past Pettersson who is another golfer that could prove tough in this. He has the ability to really make a move in this tournament and the lack of Tiger, Padraig, Vijay and Phil should only help his chances.
Scott Verplank +7500 - - Why not take a stab on a golfer who always brings his best to the tournament? Sure, Verplank doesn’t win that often but he’s a good golfer. At 75 to 1, there isn’t a whole lot we can anticipate. Just getting to Sunday and giving us a shot at those odds would make me happy.
