Tournament Time - Southeastern Conference is Weak
by Mike Rose

Traditionally, the Southeastern Conference boasts a ton of powerhouses that can be a bear to bounce from the NCAA Tournament. The Vanderbilt, and LSU have all held high seeds in the dance in recent years. This season though, everything changed. The SEC only got three bids to the dance, and the only reason the number was that high was because the Mississippi State Bulldogs stole a bid by winning the conference tournament last week. Of the power conferences, no conference got fewer bids to this year’s dance than the SEC, and the oddsmakers have no confidence that those three teams will amount to anything. Their over/under for total number of wins as a conference is only 1.5!
