According to the Associated Press poll last week, the Washington Huskies came in at #14.  So, how is it that they ascended to the No. 1 tournament seed? Heart! This is clear when you take into consideration all of UW’s accomplishments

The Huskies finished No. 3 in the Ratings Percentage Index standings, have a better record against the RPI top 25, and won the PAC-10 championship. If that doesn’t say “deserving”, then I don’t know what does. Washington opens Thursday in Boise against Montana, the Big Sky champion. Don’t forget to get your bets in early.
