Midwest Bracket - Pac-10 Champion USC vs. Boston College
by Tim Furious
The Pac-10 Champion Trojans Battle The Eagles!
Nobody expected Boston College Eagles.
Boston has been a defensive stalwart, controlling most of their games with relative ease. Despite losing to Duke in the ACC Finals, the Eagles have also been holding the UNDER in five of five over the past month of college basketball betting. They’re a team that is achieving within its means, while the Trojans are one that is over exceeding their expectations.
The Trojans are undefeated in their last five, and also 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games, pushing the OVER in 5 of 7 games. But are they for real? The oddsmakers don’t think much of them as a Pac-10 Champion, giving them just -2.5 against the Eagles.

USC Trojans (21-12) vs. Boston College Eagles (22-11)
Firday, March 20th --- Hubert Humphrey Metrodome --- 7:20pm EST
CAAB Betting Line: USC -2.5 (137.5)
The Eagles have something to prove. After rummaging through the disaster that was the ACC Tournament, they have to prove that they’re a legitimate threat. USC has blown its load as far as I’m concerned. I’m betting that it was a fluke, and so should you.
Furious Free Pick: Boston College -2.5 (UNDER)
