The Oregon State Beavers, (6-25 SU, 9-20-1 ATS, 18-12 O/U) were one of the worst basketball teams in all of college basketball in the BetUS NCAA Basketball Odds on most occasions.

The Beavers took a huge step on Monday in getting its program headed in the right direction and will undoubtedly be featured more in the BetUS Locker Room than they were in 2007-08 after hiring former Brown University head coach Craig Robinson to straighten out the worst team in the Pac-10 this season

Robinson, the brother-in-law to presidential candidate Barack Obama, led the Bears to a school-record 19 victories this season.

Robinson, the Ivy League coach of the Year in 2006-07, took Brown to only its fourth postseason appearance this season and replaces associate head coach Kevin Mouton who took over after former head coach Jay John was fired in January following a 6-12 start.

While the Beavers certainly won’t challenge the perennial Pac-10 powerhouses for conference supremacy next season, expect the Beavers to show some sort of improvement with both, their straight up and against the spread records.
