Dates with Destiny - The MLB League Championship Series Winners Are ….

Okay BetUS MLB Sportsbook bettors, you’ve got questions surrounding the outcome of the both league championship series – and I’ve got the answers!

With both league series’ about to get underway in the BetUS Sportsbook, here is my brief analysis and selections on the respective outcomes of both series’.

National League Championship Series

Los Angeles Dodgers -110

Analysis: I always generally stick to the age-old adage that good pitching beats good hitting, but I am ‘going against the grain’ with my NLCS league championship series pick.

While the Los Angeles Dodgers clearly have the better stating pitching staff, (if Brett Myers and Jamie Moyer don’t perform well), I genuinely believe the Phillies are going to be fueled by the general lack of respect they are getting, not to mention their far superior batting order, which if you took Manny Ramirez out of the equation, wouldn’t even be worth comparing to L.A.’s.

I also like the fact that Philadelphia’s best two hitters, Ryan Howard and Chase Utley are lefties who will face three L.A. right-handers to open the series and also have home-field advantage in this series.

I say take the Phillies to win this series and complete their ‘date with destiny’ by reaching the World Series for the first time since 1993.

American League Championship Series

Boston Red Sox -140

Tampa Bay Rays +110

Analysis: I know the Red Sox have far more postseason experience and are the reigning defending World Series champs, but I don’t like the way they matchup against the young, hungry and very feisty Tampa Bay Rays.

Tampa Bay has more than held their own against the Red Sox this season despite overwhelming pressure throughout the course of the regular season and will enter this series playing loose and free as they have absolutely no pressure on the whatsoever!

I also like Tampa Bay’s huge, home-field advantage in this series and also believe they have a ‘date with destiny’ season.

Take the Rays to ‘shock the word’ by beating the BoSox narrowly, also in seven games.
