The BetUS Free Picks in this MLB Sunday doubleheader taking place in two National League ballparks as interleague fever sweeps Major League Baseball once again.
The St. Louis Cardinals will host the Philadelphia Phillies in an all-NL matchup while the Boston Red Sox travel to the Midwest to take on the Cincinnati Reds.

Here is a look at each matchup, followed by my analysis and MLB online sports wagering Free Picks:
St. Louis Cardinals
The Pitchers: Phillies starter Adam Eaton is 2-3 in 13 starts covering 74.0 innings with 40 strikeouts, 27 walks and a 4.62 ERA.
Cardinals’ starter Kyle Lohse is 7-2 in 14 starts covering 80.1 innings with 37 strikeouts, 19 walks and an ERA of 3.92.
Analysis: Philly’s Adam Eaton has been throwing the ball very well, not allowing more than three earned runs in any of his last four outings while St. Louis hurler Kyle Lohse has surpassed Eaton’s success, by not allowing more than three earned runs in any of his last five starts.
With St. Louis slugger Albert Pujols out of the lineup, I say the Phillies win this contest on the strength of their big bats.
MLB Free Picks: Phillies 5 Cardinals 4
Cincinnati Reds
The Pitchers: Red Sox starter Tim Wakefield is 4-4 in 13 starts covering 81.0 innings with 53 strikeouts, 36 walks and a 4.33 ERA.
Reds starter Edinson Volquez is 9-2 in 13 starts and one relief appearance covering 81.0 innings with 96 strikeouts, 43 walks and an ERA of 1.56.
Analysis: Boston’s Tim Wakefield hasn’t given up more than two earned runs in three straight starts covering 22.0 innings but Cincinnati’s Edinson Volquez is in another stratosphere altogether with his terrific record and microscopic ERA.
Forget the fact that the Red Sox are far and away the better team and go with the Reds to win this contest on the strength of Edinson Volquez and his overwhelming array of pitches.
MLB : Reds 4 Red Sox 2
