Floyd White Sox visit a knuckler in Wakefield Red Sox

Pitcher Tim Wakefield will try to bring the Boston Red Sox closer to a playoff berth, and hopefully another World Series, when he takes the mound this Sunday versus the Chicago White Sox.
The Red Sox are currently 4.5 games behind the Baseball betting fans should note that Wakefield hasn’t exactly been as stellar this season as the Red Sox have needed him to be. He’s gone 8 and 8 with an ERA of 3.73. He will need to do better if the BoSox have any desire of catching the hot Tamp Bay Devil Rays.
The reason this game is important to not only the Red Sox but the Chicago White Sox is because both teams are in a battle for not only their respective divisional titles but for a wild car playoff berth as well. The White Sox are only 1.5 games ahead of the Minnesota Twins for first place in the A.L. Central Division.
If the Twins end up passing them by, then the ChiSox will be fighting for a wild care berth. This team has been playing above expectations all season. They send pitcher Gavin Floyd to the mound. Floyd has been a solid online baseball betting proposition this season going 14 and 6 with an ERA of 3.70

I believe that the ChiSox are starting to play better, Ozzie Guilen is getting crazy again, which is what this team needs, and that they are more resilient than this years’ version of the Red Sox.
