Yankees look for Redemption against Red Sox

Once again the Yankees and Red Sox meet. Usually, this game would garner tons of attention from MLB betting fans, but since the Yankees have been eliminated from the playoffs, enthusiasm isn’t as high as usual. But these are the New York Yankees coming into Boston to take on the Red Sox.

There’s still drama, and online profits to be made, in this game. The Yankees start pitcher Alfredo Aceves. Aceves has started only three games this season. His record is encouraging off of those three games. He’s 1 and 0 with a 1.38 ERA. Could Aceves be another superstar pitcher for the Yankees’ organization?

The Red Sox counter Aceves with one of the top pitchers in Major League Baseball. Daisuke Matsuzaka has been terrific this season. Few batters have been able to figure him out. He’s an online betting phenom going 18 and 2 with an ERA of 2.80. Dice-K will be difficult to hit against in this game.

Since the BetUS online sportsbook has not released online wagering odds for this game yet, here are my personal online betting odds.

The New York Yankees are 7 and 1 in their last 8 games overall.

The New York Yankees are 5 and 0 in their last 5 games on grass.

The Boston Red Sox are 42 and 19 in Dice-K’s last 61 starts.

The Boston Red Sox are 5 and 1 in their last 6 games on grass.

Hopefully, the BetUS MLB odds to be similar to what I have posted above.

My hope is that the BetUS online sportsbook will be more generous in regards to the BetUS over/under. The total I have predicted, 9, is awfully high. I’m going to keep my fingers crossed and hope that the BetUS odds makers issue a total of 8 or 8 ½. With Dice-K on the mound, the total shouldn’t be as high as 9.

Then again, there isn’t a whole lot to make of Alfredo Aceves. At a total of 8 or 8 ½, then I will be making an online bet on this game to go over.
