Even with the 2007-08 betting online in the process of enjoying these games, doesn’t hurt either.
The BetUS Sportsbook today in this Sunday ‘double-dipper’ featuring matchups between the Philadelphia Phillies and Atlanta Braves as well as the Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers.
Now, with all sorts of sports action taking place in various sports in the BetUS Sportsbook this weekend, let’s get started.
Atlanta Braves
The Pitchers: Phillies starter Adam Eaton is 2-3 in 12 starts covering 68.0 innings with 38 strikeouts, 25 walks and a 4.63 ERA.
Braves starter Jorge Campillo is 2-0 in four starts and 13 relief appearances covering 40.1 innings with 36 strikeouts, six walks and an ERA of 1.79.
Analysis: While Atlanta’s Jorge Campillo allowed four earned runs on six hits in just four innings against the Florida Marlins, Philly’s Adam Eaton pitched very well in his last start, (making me a loser in the process) allowing just one earned run against the Cincinnati Reds on three miniscule hits in 6 2/3 innings. Take Eaton to win consecutive starts for the first time this season.

Los Angeles Dodgers
The Pitchers: Cubs starter Jason Marquis is 3-3 in eleven starts covering 61.0 innings with 34 strikeouts, 27 walks and a 5.02 ERA.
Dodgers’ starter Brad Penny is 5-7 in 13 starts covering 76.0 innings with 42 strikeouts, 31 walks and an ERA of 5.45.
Analysis: Jason Marquis allowed three earned runs on four hits in five innings against the San Diego Padres on Tuesday while Dodgers hurler Brad Penny limited the Colorado Rockies to two runs on six hits in six innings.
While the Cubs are clearly the better team in this matchup, I’m going with the better starting pitcher to win this matchup and lead his team to victory – Brad Penny.
MLB Free Picks: Dodgers 6 Cubs 3
