MLB Betting - Free Spring MLB Picks

As we head closer to the start of the MLB regular season, the league’s spring games get a little more ‘for real’ themselves, as veterans try to fine tune themselves into playing shape and young players really start to fight for the last few spots on every team’s roster.
While betting on spring training games is always a risky proposition, it can be profitable.
Here re my picks for today’s MLB spring training games.

Kansas City is 9-12 this spring and no matter how much they talk about the future, they are still absolutely atrocious. Take the A’s young arms to beat the Royals here.
Oakland A’s

The White Sox (9-14) and the M’s (8-16) sport almost identical spring records. Since the Sox have the better pitching staff by far, they are the correct pick here.
Chicago White Sox

The Rangers are 12-7 this spring and the Angels are 14-9 and have many analysts predicting that they will reach the 2007 World Series. I’m going with the Rangers here
Because their hitters have been on an absolute tear this spring.
Texas Rangers

The Tigers (14-8) are going to make another strong run this season and could wind up in the World Series again in 2007. Manager Jim Leyland doesn’t take any stuff and has the young arms to compete with any team in the majors. While the Indians have also played well this spring, posting a 12-8 record heading into this game, I say, take the Tigers.

The Twins (11-10) don’t usually start playing well until somewhere around midseason. The Devil Rays (5-16) are already in regular season mode, losing with the best of them.

Houston (12-7) still has some talent on the roster while the Nationals (8-11) are trying to build for the future. Sounds like a Texas hold ‘em to me.
