MLB Playoff Picks - Wednesday 3 Game Parlay

The Minnesota Twins survived a 12 inning slug fest versus the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday night to win the A.L. Central Division.
Unfortunately for the Twins, the taste of success could be short lived as the New York Yankees scheduled their first game versus the winner of the A.L. Central today!
Also, a pitching change in Philadelphia changes everything.
Let’s take a quick look at each game.
10/7/2009 Games
Pitching Change Alert!
Colorado Rockies vs. Philadelphia Phillies
First-pitch: 2:35 pm EST
Colorado – Ubaldo Jimenez vs. Philadelphia - Cliff Lee
Analysis: Up until last night, the thought was that Cole Hamels would pitch for the Rockies don’t know him very well since he came from Cleveland. What was a toss up game has become a game much more in the Phillies’ favor.
Pick: Philadelphia Phillies -140
Minnesota Twins vs. New York Yankees
First-pitch: 6:05 pm EST
Minnesota Duensing vs. New York – C.C. Sabathia – Brian
Analysis: The Yankees for taking advantage. The Yanks had up to last night, after the Twins beat the Detroit Tigers, to decide if they wanted to play on Wednesday or Thursday. They decided on playing on Wednesday. Sabathia has a 1.15 WHIP which makes him one of the most feared pitchers in the American League. Duensing has a 1.37 WHIP. The Twins are tired and probably can’t stand up to mighty New York in this one. The only wager in the sportsbook worth making is C.C. on the run line at bad odds.
Pick: C.C. Sabathia and the New York Yankees at -1 ½ -155
St. Louis Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Dodgers
First-pitch: 9:35 pm EST
St. Louis – Chris Carpenter vs. Los Angeles – Randy Wolf
Analysis: Surprisingly, the Dodgers he pitched 8 innings, struck out 8, walked 1, and gave up only 2 runs. The man is magic against L.A. and should do so again. I’m rolling the dice on the run line in this game.
Pick: St. Louis and Chris Carpenter at -1 ½ +125
