MLB Betting - Three Stars on the Saturday Diamond

There are always stars that are bound to shine, especially in games featuring teams on the diamond. We have three big time winners picked out in MLB betting action that you are sure to cash in this weekend!

Milwaukee Brewers @ St. Louis Cardinals

Game Date/Time: Saturday, May 7, 4:10 ET

Game Location: Busch Stadium, St. Louis, MO

TV/Radio Broadcast: Fox Sports Wisconsin, Fox Sports Midwest, Sirius

Eventually, the Brewers need to stop this losing streak, and at some point, Yovani Gallardo is going to lower this 6.10 ERA that he has on the year. The bad news is that he has a terrible history of going against St. Louis, going just 0-4 in seven career starts. Needless to say, we don't think that we want to get in front of that type of a trend right now in MLB betting action, especially since Gallardo's ERA has over quadrupled in his last six starts. Aside from that, the Brew Crew are just 5-13 outside of Miller Park this year and are out $798 to show for it.

Colorado Rockies @ San Francisco Giants

Game Date/Time: Saturday, May 7, 9:05 ET

Game Location: AT&T Park, San Francisco, CA

TV/Radio Broadcast: ROOT, KNTV, Sirius

Madison Bumgarner is only 0-5 on the season, but his splits suggest that he really should be doing better than that. He actually only has one earned run allowed in his last two starts, but he lost both games because the team has given him absolutely nothing in terms of run support. Esmil Rogers probably shouldn't be in the starting rotation for Colorado, as the 25 year old really hasn't been that effective all season long. However, he's 3-1 in spite of the fact that his splits are just so much worse than that of Bumgarner. We'll play the odds that says all of this is going to regulate itself in MLB betting action and go with the youngster at home against the Rocks to get his first 'W' of the season.

Oakland Athletics vs. Kansas City Royals

Game Date/Time: Saturday, May 7, 7:10 ET

Game Location: Kauffman Stadium, Kansas City, MO

TV/Radio Broadcast: Comcast California, Fox Sports Kansas City, Sirius

The battle between Brandon McCarthy and Luke Hochevar isn't the sexiest on the board right now, but there is no doubt that the A's have the edge in MLB betting action. They're 12-5 over the course of the last 17 clashes with the Royals coming into this weekend, and when push really comes to shove, there is just no way that KC is keeping up this home mark against some of the best teams in baseball. The Royals are +$866 coming into this weekend series and have the most home wins in the bigs at 14. However, we have to remember that this is a team that has been dreadful on the road and is really due to turn things back the other direction at Kauffman Stadium as well.
