Baseball Betting Online - Tuesday MLB Puppy Play

There's a slew of mouthwatering online MLB betting matchups. Step up to the plate and let's swing for the fence, as we attempt to turn a profit, building our BetUS account balance with a lively underdog. Albeit a slight puppy, nevertheless, its a barking money-making hound. Following is the game's preview and MLB wagering selection.

Cleveland Indians at Kansas City Royals (8:10pm EST)

Considering Cleveland's ugly 14-25 start and its southpaw ace in 2008, Cliff Lee (2-5, 3.00 ERA), playing more like a bankroll robbing joker, Kansas City listed at +110 in the BetUS MLB odds is a ''Royal'' steal. So it's not the type of sports betting value to send anyone into retirement, but there's strong potential for a W here, and that's all that matters.

Kansas City has lost seven of its last ten games—but still are just a game out of first place in the AL Central—which has played apart in oddsmakers serving us dogged odds on a silver platter. The Royals will open this three-game series at Kauffman Stadium by handing the ball to right-hander Brian Bannister (3-1, 1.80 ERA).

After going 12-9 with a 3.87 ERA in 2007, Bannister finished last season at 9-16 with a career-worst 5.76 ERA. He began this year down on the farm in Triple-A Omaha, but when Royals' reliever Doug Waechter was injured and with starter Horacio Ramirez inability to win, it gave Bannister a ticket back into the majors where he's now producing and off to a stellar start. His resurgence back into the bigs ironically began back on April 22 against the team he'll face Tuesday, the Indians. In the April game, Bannister threw six innings and gave up just four hits and two walks in a 2-0 victory in Cleveland.

He'll be going for his fourth straight win over the Indians, who's favored at -130. Lifetime, Bannister has been money versus the Indians, going 4-1 with a 1.62 ERA in six career starts against them.

Following a season-high six-game losing streak, which is a major component to their 3-7 record over the last ten, the Royals have won two of three since. Kansas City, 8-2 in its last 10 at Kauffman Stadium, took two of three from Cleveland at home from in mid-April. The teams have split six games thus far into the season. But expect Kansas City to go a game up in the season series, as their bats are returning to life after batting .221 during their skid, the Royals have hit .290 over the last three games.

Lee will toe the slab looking for back-to-back victories for the first time in 2009, following his 4-0 win over the scuffling White Sox on Wednesday. He gave up two runs over eight innings in dueling with Bannister on April 22, as he looks for his fourth straight victory in Kansas City after going 5-0 with a 2.63 ERA against the Royals in his AL Cy Young award winning 2008 season. But that was then, and this is now with a team that's 7-14 away from home. If you bet on MLB, take Kansas City and enjoy the win.
