Yankee Stadium - Betting Analysis on the Yankees’ New Stadium

The interest in the New York Yankees’ new stadium has been overwhelming. The old stadium actually made the cover of Sports Illustrated just about a week ago. That’s how much people are following this story. Well, online betting fans are people too, right? Don’t their concerns need to be addressed?

Well, look no further than the BetUS online sportsbook which has just recently posted online wagering odds on some of the more interesting topics surrounding the new Yankee Stadium.

Analysis: Without a doubt A-Rod is the best online bet to get this done. Why not? The Yankees are full of tradition and what would make more sense, from a traditional point-of-view, then A-Rod garnering the first home run in the new stadium? I’m going with Alexander Rodriguez in this.

Analysis: I’m going to have to skip making an online bet on any player in this category. I mean, I don’t think any of these guys is capable of throwing a no-hitter. If I had to make an online wager, then I’d go with Joba Chamberlain. Chien-Ming Wang is coming off of an injury and Mussina and Pettite probably don’t have it in them to throw a no-hitter any more. Chamberlain has the best shot, but you’re going out on a limb as an online baseball betting fan at those 30 to 1 online odds.

When first World Series appearance and win will be

Analysis: Wow. This is surprising because the Yankees won’t sit on their laurels this off season. They’re going to make a play for C.C. Sabbathia. If they get him, then their online wagering odds to make the World Series could drop to almost nothing. That’s how good this team is offensively. All they need is a shut-down pitcher and they become one of the top teams in the American League. I’m all over those 6 to 1 online odds with the belief that they will sign Sabbathia or someone like him during the off season.

Analysis: None of these guys are super quick, but all of them have a chance to pull this off. Rodriguez is another good online bet in this category but I’ll back Melky Cabrera because I like his online odds and I see him doing something like this before A-Rod or Johnny Damon. I just have that feeling.

Analysis: Abreu is a strike-out king which is why his online wagering odds are so low, but I have to side with A-Rod in this one again. Why? He’ll be pushing during his first at bat. To me, it means he swings at some bad pitches. And his online betting odds are higher than Abreu’s.

Analysis: A-Rod again, right? Well, yes. Even though the rest of the Yankees in this category can certainly pull this off, only A-Rod has the ability to pull it off easily. 4 to1 makes him an underlay in this spot but there is no other Yankee worth making an online wager on in this category.

Analysis: As the most popular old time Yankee from way back, Yogi Berra has to be the online wager in this category. I doubt the Yankees will christen their new stadium with a celebrity like Philbin or Crystal. Even though Steinbrenner has a huge ego, he isn’t stupid enough to do it himself. Clemens has no shot at doing this and Jeter - - I don’t know where that is coming from. I’m all over Berra at those 5 to 1 online betting odds.

Analysis: I have to go chalk in this one because emotions will be incredibly high when the Yankees host their rivals, the Boston Red Sox. Girardi is a fiery guy as it is. Girardi will find some reason to get himself into hot water, the Yankee fans will go crazy, and New York will make a come back in the game.

She’s one of the hottest acts around right now. I see her stepping it up and laying it down in this thing. She’s worth an online bet.
