It's that time of year again for The Chase officially begins in New Hampshire. Strategy begins to change as the Top 12 strive for the checkered flag at all costs as they aspire to be anointed the 2008 Cup champion. With that in mind, this week's six pack will be heavily driven towards this year's contenders, since quite simply, these last ten races are all about them.

Denny Hamlin

It seems that we write about how he "has this track figured out" every single week, but it's true. This youngster truly does have New Hampshire figured out, with a win and four Top 10s in five career starts here.

Jimmie Johnson

The reigning Cup champ will be riding the momentum of the past two weeks' victories into a track that he's quite fond of as well. Double J swept the races here back in 2006, and has five Top 10s in New Hampshire in his past six starts.

Carl Edwards

Concrete Carl has cooled off, and is likely a bit of a long shot this week. No. 99 has only finished in the Top 10 here once in his career, but if you can get a driver of his skill and caliber at good value, it's a great idea to sprinkle on him this week. Not to mention that sitting second in the Chase, he'll be going all-out to move ahead of Kyle Busch.

Dale Earnhardt Jr.

This selection is purely based on who's on his team: Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon, two guys with tremendous success on this track. Dale himself hasn't fared well at this race, but with his teammates running in the front, they'll be able to aid him to a solid finish. Nice sleeper here.

Martin Truex Jr.

Speaking of sleepers, one guy who loves short tracks is Martin Truex, and he should display his love for them this week. Martin is just on the cusp of victory here, with a Top 5 in his past three starts, so look for him to step up his game this week!

Jeff Burton

The all-time win leader at New Hampshire with four career victories, don't you dare leave him off your card this week. The No. 31 Chevrolet sits fifth in the Chase, and will be running hard for a victory once again.
