NASCAR Props - Can Jimmie Win a Fourth Straight Cup?

Daytona 500.
As always, NASCAR betting fans. But before race fans jump into the sportsbook betting pools, they need to ask some serious questions regarding the upcoming NASCAR season.
Let’s take a look at a few of those.
Top NASCAR Questions in Terms of Sportsbook Betting
Can NASCAR odds!
Is Dale Earnhardt Jr. a NASCAR driver? The reason I write it that way is because Jr. just hasn’t been very good the past few years. He is, once again, one of the favorites to take down the Sprint Cup at +1000. But last year Dale Jr. proved that even with the full force of Hendrick Motorsports behind him, he really can’t get it done. What’s his problem? I don’t see him improving enough to make a run for the championship.
Will Jeff Gordon bounce back from a sub-par season? Like Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon has the full force of Hendrick Motorsports behind him. Like Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon is +1000 in the BetUS online sportsbook. The difference? Gordon is a winner having won four Cups before while Dale Jr. just drives around the track and hopes he can win something, anything. I like Gordon to bounce back.
How will Tony Stewart do with his new team? Stewart is one of the best in NASCAR history. He needs to start concentrating on driving and less on being the “man”. At online odds of +1500, he’s definitely worth a bet. Tony was going off at +700 to start out 2008. That’s more than double the odds. I like him to show something this season, but I wouldn’t go crazy backing the guy.
Did Carl Edwards waste all of his good mojo in 2008? What’s left? Okay, Edwards is just too good of a driver not to make a run for the Sprint Cup in 2009. His online odds are just awful at +400 which means I won’t be making an online wager on this guy any time soon, but he will make a run.
Was Kyle Busch a flash in the pan? No. Kyle Busch is now the top driver for Joe Gibbs Racing. Denny Hamlin had better realize that before the Daytona 500. Busch is a fantastic driver. It doesn’t matter that he can be a real jerk on the race track. His online wagering odds are only +400 to win the Cup as well. So, I won’t be making any bets on him.
Top Long Shots in the BetUS Online Sportsbook
Clint Bowyer, +2000 - - He made the Chase last year and should improve yet again. He’s got the stones to win it.
Kasey Kahane, +4000 - - Those are excellent odds on a fella who has gotten better and better. NASCAR would love to see Kahane break the Johnson stranglehold on the Cup. Kahane is their most marketable star.
Kevin Harvick, +2000 - - Every year I ponder whether or not Harvick will break out and become one of the top five drivers in NASCAR. Well he just took the first race of the season, The Budweiser Shootout and now has momentum going into Daytona. At +2000, I have to take a shot.
Juan Pablo Montoya, +8500 - - Montoya is a master at what he does. He got kicked in the mouth last season, his second, but I’ll chalk that up to sophomore blues. He bounces back just enough to start scaring some people. At +8500 he’s definitely worth a shot.
