I have a feeling that Montoya and his crew have been pointing towards this race all season long. It won’t get him into the Chase, he’s been horrible this year, but it will get some of that strut back into Juan Pablo’s step. The online odds are good enough. He’s the pick.

2. Robbie Gordon - - online odds + 900 - - Robbie hasn’t won one of these road course races in a while. Does that mean he’s do? At the online wagering odds of + 900, I’m willing to say, yes. The other Gordon will be looking to do something in a race where he has a nice advantage over his competitors.

3. e - - online odds + 1300 - - Ambrose has been brought in specifically to win this race. He is a road course specialist who should have no trouble navigating the goofy turns at Watkins Glen. He’s going to have to adjust some, but not too much as most of the other NASCAR drivers simply don’t like having to drive on the Watkins Glen course.
