The Atlanta Hawks are 5 and 5 against the spread in their last 10. That doesn’t mean that things are going to be easy for Phoenix.
Or does it? Here are some NBA Betting trends:
The Atlanta Hawks are 5 and 1 against the spread in their last 6 games versus a team from the NBA Pacific Division.
The HOME team is 5 and 2 against the spread in the last 7 meetings between these two teams.
The UNDERDOG is 7 and 3 against the spread in the last 10 meetings between these two teams.
The Phoenix Suns are 6 and 1 against the spread in their last 7 games as a favorite.
The Suns are the better team but the trends say Hawks. Could the Hawks go into Phoenix and pull a huge upset? I’m not sure about that, but playing with the Suns within the BetUS number of 8.5 appears doable.
I’ve been chilly on the Suns all year. The reason is that as an BetUS NBA bettor I can never tell whether or not they are going to blow a team out of the arena or just lay down like losers. Against Minnesota, a team they should have beaten by twenty or thirty points, they lost by 10 points. They were favored by 8 in that game.
They’ve won two games straight-up and against the spread since then, but the questions remain. Phoenix has lost to the Los Angeles Clippers, and these very same Atlanta Hawks so far this season.
Why not lose to the Hawks again?
Okay, so I won’t be wagering on that, but I will be wagering on the fact that the Suns could easily win this game by only four points. That’s well within the spread.
The BetUS Phoenix Suns.
I’m betting on the Hawks to beat the spread tonight. I just don’t think Phoenix gets up for games against inferior teams.
