First, the Los Angeles Lakers (61-29 SU, 42-47-1 ATS, 37-53 O/U) were just losing games.
Now, they’ve got more ‘drama’ than TNT as they bicker amongst themselves like a bunch of teenage cheerleaders.
Hell, BetUS online NBA betting enthusiasts, the red-hot Dallas Mavericks (63-27 SU, 51-36-3 ATS, 50-39-1 O/U) might not have to do much tonight when they host the Lakers, with the suddenly dysfunctional team self-imploding just a little bit more with each passing day.

Analysis: If you got to read my ‘Changing of the Guard’ article in the BetUS basketball news section on Thursday, then you already know I believe Kobe Bryant and the two-time defending champion Lakers are done!
If not, now you know.
After getting upset in a thriller in Game 1 on their home floor, Los Angeles was absolutely man-handled in its 93-81 home loss in Game 2.
Now, L.A. enters tonight’s Game 3 matchup in ‘absolute desperation’ mode, but I don’t care how desperate they are, I just don’t see them beating the now supremely confident Mavs after getting outplayed in two different fashions over the first two games.
The Lakers have dropped two of their last three road games in Dallas and four of their last half-dozen games against the Mavs overall.
The good news for Lakers online NBA betting backers is the fact that L.A. has compiled an impressive 10-4 mark against the spread in their L/14 road games. Unfortunately, there’s far more bad news than good for NBA gamblers that like L.A.
First and foremost, the Dallas Mavericks have gone 7-0 against the spread in their last seven games as a favorite while also posting a perfect 6-0 mark against the online NBA betting odds in their L/6 home games.
To make matters even worse is the fact that Dallas has been an absolute cash cow against the spread since just before the end of the regular season. Dallas is 11-0-1 ATS in their last dozen games and went 29-12 SU on their home floor during the regular season.
Prediction: The Lakers, like every other team in the league, don’t have a single player that can stop Dirk Nowitzki but that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Dallas gets great leadership from point guard Jason Kidd and now has a group of excellent veteran players that complement Nowitzki and each other very well.
Four players on the Mavs are all averaging double figures in scoring this postseason with Peja Stojakovic, Tyson Chandler and J.J. Barea just outside the mark.
The Lakers will bring their ‘A’ game in this contest no doubt, but I’m thinking that young center Andrew Bynum hit the nail right on the head when he said the Lakers were struggling from "trust issues" on Wednesday night.
“I mean I think it’s quite obvious to anybody watching the game,” Bynum told reporters. “Hesitation on passes, defensively not being there for your teammate because he wasn’t there for you before.”
Maybe it’s me, but think the Mavs get the easy win and ATS payday against the online NBA betting odds in the bettor-friendly BetUS basketball sportsbook.
