Orlando Magic 8:00 ET

The two hottest teams for sports betting aficionados in the NBA do battle for Eastern Conference supremacy, and BetUS Sportsbook customers will get their chance to sink their teeth into all of the action. The Cleveland Cavaliers (35-8, 29-14) will hope to build their most recent winning streak to five games at the expense of the Orlando Magic (34-10, 29-14-1 ATS). In four meetings in the ’07-’08 season, Orlando went 3-1 SU and ATS against the Cavs, and has covered four straight between these teams at Amway Arena.

It almost seems like an understatement, but as LeBron James goes, so go the Cavaliers. In Tuesday’s effort against the Sacramento Kings, James notched a triple-double, scoring 23 points, logging 15 boards, and dishing out 11 assists. “King James” leads the team in points per game (27.9), assists per game (7.0), rebounds per game (7.5), and steals per game (2.0). Tuesday night belonged to PG Mo Williams though. The slashing guard shot 15 of 24 from the field, which included a 7 of 12 effort from beyond the arc to register 43 total points on the night. He also came awfully close to the triple-double, finishing with eight rebounds and 11 assists.

Cleveland bettors have hit 67.4% of their games this year in large part due to the Cavs defense, which ranks 1st in the NBA allowing just 90.6 points per game. The offense has scored at least 100 points in each game of the current four-game winning streak, but thanks to the fact that the defense has allowed 102.5 points per game during that stretch, the Cavs are just 2-2 ATS.

The Magic lit the scoreboard up on Wednesday night, ending a brief two-game slide with a resounding 135-111 win over the Indiana Pacers. A whopping eight players reached double digits for Orlando. C Dwight Howard picked up yet another double-double, notching 22 points and 10 boards, but often-injured F Mickael Pietrus stole the show with 27 points and ten rebounds of his own. The Magic are 13-8 against the basketball betting line at home this season, and have scored at least 105 points in each of their L/7 victories. When Orlando reaches 100 points, it’s a whopping 23-2-1 ATS this year. When it doesn’t, it is a dismal 6-12 ATS.

Oddsmakers have installed HC Stan Van Gundy’s boys as 4-point favorites, with the ‘total’ coming in at 195.5. Both teams have strong betting trends in their corner. Cleveland is 36-15 ATS in its L/51 games overall, but the Magic are 20-6 ATS in their L/26 overall and 7-2 ATS in their L/9 home games. No team in the NBA has logged a better ATS winning percentage since the start of the ’07-’08 season than Orlando.
