NBA Post All-Star Game Player Power Poll: Which players are the best bets?

The NBA's All-Star Break is over, and BetUS Sportsbook takes a look at how the top players in the league stack up against each other in this week's edition of the NBA power rankings.

1: LeBron James, Cleveland Cavaliers (29.9 PPG, 7.1 RPG, 8.3 APG) (LW: 1) Ho hum, guys. The Cavs are the hottest team in the NBA right now, as they ride a 13-game winning streak into the sabbatical. LeBron has averaged a mind-boggling 36.8 points per game in his L/4, which feels like more points than the New Jersey Nets are scoring on a nightly basis as a team. There's a reason that "The King" is the top scorer in the NBA now, and an even better reason why he is #1 in the NBA power rankings once again.

2: Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder (29.7 PPG, 7.4 RPG) (LW: 2) The Thunder are on fire right now as well, and it certainly looks like Durant is going to lead them to the postseason. He put up two more 28+ point performances, running his streak of consecutive games with at least 28 points scored in a game up to 16 straight. Durant became the second fastest player to reach 5,000 points in his career on Tuesday night. The fastest? LeBron James.

3: Chris Bosh, Toronto Raptors (24.4 PPG, 11.4 RPG) (LW: 3) A few weeks ago, the Raptors decided that they were going to finally make their push and play like the team that prognosticators expected to see at the outset of the season, and it's largely thanks to Bosh's play. Toronto is 8-1 SU and 6-2 ATS in its L/8 games overall, and in that stretch, Bosh is averaging 27.0 points and 12.7 rebounds per game. There's no arguing the fact that he is one of the best big men in the Eastern Conference, and a showdown could be set between he and Orlando C Dwight Howard in the playoffs should the Magic finish second in the Southeast Division.

4: Dwight Howard, Orlando Magic (18.0 PPG, 13.3 RPG) (LW: 7) Even though the Magic only seem to go as far as G Vince Carter takes them, there's no doubting that Howard is the team's MVP. It feels like he's good for a double-double every night out there, as he has 17 straight double-doubles and 47 in the 54 games he’s played this season. With Orlando roaring towards another division title and possibly the #2 seed in the playoffs, Howard is deserving of some MVP consideration even though he is still light years behind the likes of Durant and James.

5: Monta Ellis, Golden State Warriors (26.2 PPG, 4.2 RPG, 5.4 APG) (LW: 4) Ellis drops a spot in the lineup, not because of his lack of productivity, but his team's poor efforts. Ellis is starting to become a liability in this Golden State lineup, as he is both turning the ball over at an alarming rate (19 in his L/3 games), but he is probably stunting the growth of G Stephen Curry. Still, there's no denying that 26.2 points per game is incredibly noteworthy.

And the rest...

6: Dwyane Wade, Miami Heat (26.5 PPG, 4.6 RPG, 6.5 APG) (LW: 5)
7: Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas Mavericks (24.6 PPG, 7.7 RPG) (LW: 6)
8: Steve Nash, Phoenix Suns (18.3 PPG, 11.1 APG) (LW: 10)
9: Amare Stoudemire, Phoenix Suns (21.2 PPG, 8.6 RPG) (LW: NR)
10: Stephen Jackson, Charlotte Bobcats (20.9 PPG, 4.8 RPG, 3.9 APG) (LW: NR)
