NBA Betting Trends for Pacers vs Lakers
by Al Simmons

The Lakers arrive to this Tuesday NBA night as an 11 point favorite as they take on the Indiana Pacers at Staples Center at 10:35 PM ET.
With Kobe still trying to find his shooting form after being on the sidelines for 5 games this month a matchup against the lowly Pacers should give him plenty of space to get his form back.
Currently Kobe and the rest of the Lakers have covered 13 of 23 times whenever they have played against a team with a losing record, just like the Pacers tonight. Plus keep in mind Indiana is 16-25 ATS whenever they are the underdog.
NBA Betting Odds:
Indiana Pacers +11
LA Lakers -11
O/U 211
Another thing to consider is that the Lakers are 8-6 ATS this season as a home favorite of 9.5 to 12 points and in those 14 games they are 14-0 straight up; meaning the Lakers are big time favorite to win the game and to cover against Indiana.
Another betting trend going against the Pacers is that they are 3-7 in a road game where the total is greater than or equal to 210, exactly like this one; not to mention they are 2-8 straight up.
Now take into account that the Pacers had never won at Staples center against the Lakers. They have lost five of six on the road, with their last victory in Los Angeles on Feb. 14, 1999 - a 101-99 victory at The Great Western Forum
Now for the game total. The Indiana’s games have gone under 32 times compare to the 26 it went over and the Los Angeles’s games have gone under 33 of the 58 games played so far.
Taken these numbers into consideration you would be foolish to bet against the Lakers.
My pick: Lakers will cover and the under.
