NBA Power Rankings - Where to lay your Money

Now that the NFL has finished their season, it’s time for sports betting fans to turn to the NBA in order to find those gems of consistency.

The ultimate gem happens to be the team in the NBA that also has the best player, the LeBron “King” James led Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs are easily the top team in the NBA against the spread right now. Any online betting fan can see that by simply looking at their record.

But who else is at the top?

Let’s get to the rankings!

NBA Betting Power Rankings

1. Cleveland Cavaliers, 31-15 against the spread: Their record against the spread makes them an automatic bet almost every time they step onto the court and they should keep it going as long as LeBron stays healthy. Just make the wager and watch the money roll in!

2. Orlando Magic, 31-14-1 against the spread: They could be number one in these rankings but Cleveland should be more consistent as the season wears on. Still, the Magic are greatly improved from last season and they were awfully good against the spread last season! Jameer Nelson is turning into one of the better point-guards in the league and Dwight Howard has plenty of help on that front line.

3. Oklahoma City Thunder, 30-18 against the spread: They’re a legitimate team for online basketball betting fans to make wagers on. 30-18 is a fact, not a dream. Their straight-up record is horrible but they continue to beat spreads. Go figure!

4. Denver Nuggets, 27-19-1 against the spread: The Nuggets are one of the top teams in the NBA against the spread because they play good defense and Chauncey Billups is playing much better than Allen Iverson, the man the Nuggets got rid of to get him. Billups is happy, the front line is underrated, and Coach Karl has always been a good guy on the bench.

5. Charlotte Bobcats, 27-20 against the spread: They aren’t exactly the Oklahoma City Thunder of the Eastern Conference, but they are 7 games above .500 against the spread and Larry Brown has these guys playing with heart. They could get better against the spread if they continue to improve on the court by listening to Brown.

6. Boston Celtics, 28-21 against the spread: They have the best record in the NBA again, and their defense has returned, but there’s something missing from this year’s Celtics. In any case, they are only 7 games above .500. They make the list because of lot of other NBA teams just aren’t winning against the spread but admit that us NBA betting fans expected more, right?

7. Milwaukee Bucks, 29-10-2 against the spread: Online sportsbook betting fans need to start paying attention to the Milwaukee Bucks. Like the Bobcats and Thunder, the BetUS odds makers are finding it difficult to set a correct line when the Bucks take the floor. They aren’t “sexy” but they get the job done against the spread.

8. Indiana Pacers, 26-21-1 against the spread: The Indiana Pacers have one of the best players in the NBA in Danny Granger and their record against the spread is a winning one which is why they have made the list, but at the end of the day this team really isn’t the one that basketball betting fans should be concentrating on. Still, they’re better than a lot of other teams in the NBA against the spread.

Good Luck!
