The lone Western Conference match-up on Sunday is a good one as the Dallas Mavericks travel to Los Angeles to take on the L.A. Lakers. Both teams play on Friday night, the Lakers taking on the Trailblazers in Sacramento Kings at home.

Barring an injury, there isn’t much I believe we will gain from each team’s respective Friday night game. The Lakers should rout the Portland Trailblazers and easily cover the BetUS spread of – 8 in that game and the Dallas Mavericks should handle the Sacramento Kings at home covering the – 9 BetUS spread that they face.

The BetUS line for this Sunday game should fall very close to the 5.5 points that I have predicted. Let’s predict a line between 4.5 to 7.5 as the Lakers have been absolutely monstrous against the BetUS spread in their last 16 games.

It is a pretty amazing trend - - the Los Angeles Lakers are 14 and 2 against the BetUS spread in their past 16 games.

Now this does not include Friday night’s game versus the Portland Trailblazers. It doesn’t have to. 14 and 3 against the BetUS spread in their past 17 games would still be sick! On the year the Los Angeles Lakers are 37-19-1 against the BetUS spread.

How much of a chance do the Dallas Mavericks have? This is where it gets tricky. The Dallas Mavericks beat the Los Angeles Lakers by 7 points the last time these two teams faced each other. But that game was on January 25th before the Lakers acquired Pau Gasol and suddenly discovered what it was like to be the greatest NBA team in the world.

If I sound excited, I am. It isn’t often a BetUS NBA bettor gets to put money blindly on a team and not worry about winning or losing.

The Lakers are almost to that point.

The BetUS predicted BetUS Dallas Mavericks.

The Lakers should have no problem covering a BetUS spread up to 7.5 points and could easily rout the Mavericks on Sunday.
