NBA Weekly Review – The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Four weeks into the 2008-09 NBA regular season in the BetUS Sportsbook and things are heating up in both conferences as teams across the league that have made roster-altering changes, begin to find their respective new identities.

Here then, is a look back at the week that was in the NBA while taking a brief look ahead as what lies ahead for BetUS NBA sports betting buffs as the fifth week of NBA hoops gets set to begin.

Eastern Conference

The Portland.

The Philadelphia, the surprising Nets looks to be sitting pretty at the moment.

The Philadelphia 76ers dropped four straight games this past week and could be looking at another loss when they hit the road to face the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday on the back end of a home-and-home matchup between the clubs. Additionally, the Sixers will take on the Lakers, Pistons and Nets before the end of the week.

The Charlotte on Saturday.

The Milwaukee Bucks have dropped four consecutive games this past week, failing to cover the spread each time in the BetUS Sportsbook and have home dates this week against Chicago and Charlotte before facing the Lakers on the road on Sunday.

The Orlando Magic have won four straight games while covering the spread in each of their last three contests. The Magic will face the Celtics, Timberwolves and Thunder this week.

Western Conference

The Portland Trailblazers have won seven straight games, including four this past week while covering the spread in three straight for BetUS NBA sports betting enthusiasts.

The ‘new-look’ Denver Nuggets won three of four and two straight heading into this week, while covering the spread in each victory.

The Los Angeles Lakers remained red-hot, winning three times last week and covering the spread in each game. With three road matchups this week against Indiana, Philadelphia and Washington, followed by a Sunday home contest against Milwaukee, I wouldn’t expect L.A.’s winning streak to come to a halt any time soon.

The Golden State Warriors andUtah and Denver.

The Atlanta Hawks before hosting the Clippers and Hornets.
