Who's Hot Under the Total - Jazz Head Up List

NBA’s Hottest ‘Under’ Teams
The NBA BetUS Sportsbook to start the second half of the season:
(RANK) (TEAM) (SU RECORD) (O/U RECORD) (O/U RECORD L/5 +$$)
1) Utah Jazz (37-23) (31-28 O/U) (1-4 O/U L/15 +$290): Along with being on a torrid ATS streak that’s seen them cash for NBA bettors in 7 of their L/8 games, the Jazz have padded ‘under’ bettors pockets by picking the intensity up on the defensive end of the court. Now fully healthy, Utah has limited 4 of its L/6 opponents to less than 89 PPG which is 10+ points lower than its 99.3 defensive points allowed average on the season (#13). Head Coach Jerry Sloan has his club playing its best ball of the season, and many are of the belief they can give the Lakers all they can ask for and more in grabbing the Western Conference crown. Look for Wednesday night’s battle with the Houston Rockets to be a battle where points are hard to come by, but the scoring should be easier for the Jazz in their next three with games slated to go against Denver, Toronto, and Indiana.
2) Washington Wizards (14-46) (28-30 O/U) (1-4 O/U L/5 +$290): It makes perfect sense to see the Wizards on this list once again this week considering they boast the 27th ranked offensive attack in the league that’s averaged just 94.8 PPG throughout its first 60 games of the year. In its last five games, the Wizards managed to score 89, 93, 113, 98, and 67 points to chalk up a putrid 1-4 SU and ATS effort for the week. They shot an average of 45% from the field, and averaged just three made 3-point attempts during those five games played. Even though the offense continues to fail them, the defense played a couple points better than its seasonal average (102.2 PPG) during that stretch to help them secure one win and cover. The Wizz close this week’s betting action out on the road at Oklahoma City, San Antonio, and Dallas where they’ll more than likely continue struggling to score and get beaten into a bloody pulp.
3) Atlanta Hawks (34-26) (27-31 O/U) (1-4 O/U L/5 +$290): The Hawks have been a decent $$$-maker for ‘under’ bettors this season (27-31 O/U), and paid out once again last week as 4 of their 5 games ended up being of the lower scoring variety. With a below average offense (#18 scoring 98.4 PPG) and an above average defense (#12 allowing 97.1 PPG), it makes perfect sense to find the Hawks four games up in the ‘under’ department on the year. Another reason the Hawks have been a profitable overall ‘under’ team is the simple fact that they’re atrocious from the charity strip converting at a 73.6% clip on the year (29/30). They also flat out ball on the defensive end of the court where they boast the 14th ranked defensive FG% allowed (45.4%) and 13th ranked 3PT% defense (36.2%). Wednesday night’s game with the Knicks at MSG could be a high scorer, but look for the scoring to subside in their next two at Charlotte and back home against Detroit.
And the rest…..
4) LA Lakers (49-12) (35-25 O/U) (1-4 O/U L/5 +$290)
5) LA Clippers (15-46) (35-25 O/U) (1-4 O/U L/5 +$290)
6) Memphis Grizzlies (15-44) (28-31 O/U) (2-3 O/U L/5 +$80)
7) Boston Celtics (47-14) (27-33 O/U) (2-3 O/U L/5 +$80)
