3 Game NBA Parlay - Lakers, Bulls and Blazers will be a Payday

NBA betting fans will get to see a rematch of the 2004 NBA Finals when the Los Angeles Lakers and Detroit Pistons meet up on Wednesday night but somehow, this matchup doesn’t have as much cache.

The Lakers are the best team in the Western Conference while the Pistons are a mediocre squad in the East who will be severely shorthanded tonight.

The Pistons will be without Rasheed Wallace, Richard Hamilton and Allen Iverson, which leaves the Lakers with a much easier task on the road.

Secondly, the Pistons aren’t exactly one of the toughest teams to face on their home court. While most teams in the NBA have a winning record at home, the Pistons are among five teams in the East who don’t.

Look for the Lakers to dominate against the Pistons ‘B’ squad.

Pick: Lakers -8.5

Sportsbook betting fans will get to see the Bulls and Heat square off for a fourth time this season on Thursday night. The Heat have won the previous three matchups and will be going for the season sweep tonight.

The main problem for the Bulls has been Dwyane Wade, who has been a problem for many teams this season. The NBA’s leading scorer who is bucketing 29.8 points per game is doing even better against the Bulls. Wade has averaged 33 points per game and 7 assists in the three meetings against the Bulls.

The Bulls have some injury concerns tonight as Derrick Rose is dealing with a wrist injury, but is expected to play. Head coach Vinny Del Negro suggested that Rose might come off the bench behind Kirk Hinrich though, in an effort to limit some of his minutes.

Also, Tyrus Thomas is questionable for tonight’s contest.

Pick: Bulls -6

The Phoenix Suns are relevant again for sports betting as they have won six straight games and are just three games behind the Dallas Mavericks for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

NBA betting fans know that while the Suns may or may not chase down the Mavericks, the bottom line is that the Lakers are likely to romp over whoever is the No. 8 seed in the conference.

For the time being, though, the Suns will have to travel on the road to try to win some games as five of the six wins in their hot streak have come in their own comfortable confines.

The Portland Trail Blazers should be ready and focused tonight after an ugly home loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday. The Blazers were tired on Monday as it was their first game home after a five-game Eastern Conference road trip.

They have had a couple of days to refresh and should be more fresh tonight.

Pick: Trail Blazers -7
