KD And Russ Meet Again

On Saturday, one of the best battles of the second half of the NBA season will take place at the Oracle Arena. Kevin Durant will face his old friend and All-Star Game teammate as the Golden State Warriors host Russell Westbrook's Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Warriors (44-14) are currently half a game behind Houston (44-13) in the West while OKC (33-26) is sitting in 5th place.

The last time these two teams met at Oracle Arena, Oklahoma City beat the Warriors by 20 on the back of Paul George's 38 points.

Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors are seeking back-to-back NBA titles and their third title in four seasons. The Warriors are running through the Pacific Division, as they are 13 games ahead of second place Los Angeles. The Warriors are the top scoring team in all of the league with over 115 points per game. The Warriors are the top assist team with over 30 per game.

Steph Curry and Kevin Durant are leading the Warriors in scoring. Those two guys are combining for more than 52 points per game. The Warriors had four guys in the NBA All Star Game with Draymond Green and Klay Thompson joining in with Curry and Durant.

Oklahoma City Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder added Paul George and Carmelo Anthony to go with Russell Westbrook over the offseason and now are looking to get back in the standings in the Western Conference. The Thunder are fighting with Minnesota for not only first in the Northwest Division, but also home court advantage in the first round of the postseason.

The Thunder are led by the MVP from a season ago in Russell Westbrook. The guard leads Oklahoma City with more than 25 points per game, 9.4 rebounds per game, and more than 10 assists per game. The Thunder are also getting 39.6 points combined from George and Anthony.

Golden State Wins at Home

We are looking forward to this game. These two teams are two of the most fun teams to watch in the league, and there is always drama between these two teams. Russell Westbrook gets a chance to take on his former teammate Kevin Durant. Those two guys always go at it. The Thunder won the last time they played. Golden State will remember that. Look for the Warriors to get the job done this time. The Warriors beat the Thunder on Saturday in the NBA.
