NBA 6 Pack - Big Payday with a Parlay

Cleveland Cavaliers
Sports betting fans who follow either the Milwaukee Bucks or Cleveland Cavaliers closely know that there isn’t a very good chance that their game on Wednesday night is close. The Cavaliers toyed with the Bucks in their meeting last week at the Bradley Center as Milwaukee was up by double-digits at halftime but ended up losing by eight points.
In that contest, LeBron James scored a whopping 16 points in just three minutes of game-time as the Bucks simply could not contain him.
There might be some bad blood between these two teams as in the previous contest, Charlie Villanueva had a flagrant foul on Anderon Varejao, which resulted in an ejection.
The Cavs are now the top seed in the East and they have played so well at home this year that there is no reason not to trust them. For the Bucks, this will be the second of a back-to-back situation.
Pick: Cavaliers -13
New York Knicks
The New York Knicks are only three games out of a playoff spot but their recent stretch is not helping them or sports bettors. The Knicks have won just three times in their last 10 games and are off a very ugly loss.
The Knicks were leading the Heat late in the fourth quarter until the Heat went on a 19-0 to take grasp of the game.
The Hawks are much higher in the standings and much more secure, as far as playoff positioning goes, but they have been very mediocre this year.
The Hawks were 21-10 at the end of 2008 but are just 13-16 in 2009. They are just 2-4 in their last six road games.
Pick: Knicks PICK
Miami Heat
Shaquille O’Neal will visit another one of his former teams, which makes it three times in the last four games he’s done that.
The Suns first game was a success as they pummeled the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday, but last night’s return to Orlando wasn’t as smooth as the Suns lost 111-99 in Orlando last night.
The Heat have been wildly inconsistent all season but they are 20-11 at home. They lost their last home game to the Cleveland Cavaliers, which was a 107-100 loss on Monday.
The Heat are 1-3 as a home favorite of three points or less but are 10-3 against the spread after allowing 105 points or more in their previous game.
Pick: Heat -2.5
Oklahoma City Thunder
Don’t look now sports betting handicappers, but the Oklahoma City Thunder are developing right in front of our eyes.
Sure, they are a young squad that was just 3-29 on December 29th, but they have compiled a 12-16 record since.
More impressive has been their current two-game winning streak, which has come without star forward, Kevin Durant. The Thunder’s last win, a 96-87 romp over the Dallas Mavericks, actually came without Durant or Jeff Green in the lineup.
The Wizards have been brutal on the road this season and they are at the opposite end of the spectrum. They are not building; they are breaking down.
Pick: Thunder -4.5
Portland Trail Blazers
The Indiana Pacers haven’t exactly been a dynasty in recent years but the Portland Trail Blazers might believe it. The Pacers have won nine straight meetings with the Trail Blazers, which is a surprising statistic.
Wednesday might be a challenge for the Pacers, who are expected to be without Danny Granger once again, but the Pacers are 5-2 with their All-Star.
The Pacers are just 6-11 in back-to-back situations and just 8-25 in road games. They are off a road win in Sacramento on Tuesday night.
The good news for the Pacers is that they are 4-1 against the spread as a road underdog of 9.5 to 12 points.
Pick: Pacers +10
Utah Jazz
Two of the league’s hottest teams meet up on Wednesday night in a rematch of the first-round of the 2008 NBA Playoffs.
The Jazz are working at full strength now that Andrei Kirilenko and Carlos Boozer are healthy. NBA betting handicappers know that it’s no coincidence that the Jazz have won nine straight.
For the Rockets, they have played well also, even though they have been without Tracy McGrady. The Rockets have won eight of their last night games.
The Jazz dominate this series, particularly at home, winning eight of the last 10 matchups.
The Rockets are in the second game of a back-to-back, third game in four nights and are 0-2 both straight up and against the spread as a road underdog of 6.5 to nine points this season.
Pick: Jazz -8.5
