The New Orleans Hornets (43-32-2 ATS) tonight in a game they must absolutely win. The Clippers are currently just percentage points behind the Golden State Warriors in the race for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference and shouldn’t have a problem getting up for this one.
New Orleans (36-41) is currently in 10th place; only a game and a half out of the eighth spot themselves.
The question here is, “Which team wants this game more? The underachieving Clippers, who have lost two consecutive games, or the overachieving Hornets?”
I say, take the Clippers to cover, if not win outright. They are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games and should improve upon that win-total in this game.
