NBA Betting Odds: Raptors vs Warriors
by Aaron Torres

Two of the NBA’s highest scoring teams will do battle in Saturday night’s NBA Betting Odds. That’s when the Golden State Warriors host the Toronto Raptors.
Toronto Raptors (32-31 SU, 29-34 ATS) at Golden State Warriors (17-47 SU, 35-28-1 ATS)
Saturday, March 13: 10:30 p.m.
Here are some NBA Betting Trends which may impact this game:
Toronto: 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games
Toronto: 1-4 SU in their last 5 games
Golden State: 3-1 ATS in their last 4 games
Golden State: Total has gone OVER in 3 of their last 4 games
Toronto comes into this game losers of four of their last five, after falling in their first two games of a West Coast road trip. There’s no doubt that time is ticking on this team, as they hope to hold onto a playoff berth in the Eastern Conference.
The Raptors come into this game as the highest scoring team in the East, averaging over 104 points per game. Their best player is power forward Chris Bosh, who is just starting to come back to his early season form, after missing several games with injuries. Bosh has played in the Raptors last three games, but has been limited, scoring only 16 points and grabbing eight rebounds a game, both well below his season averages.

Third leading scorer Hedo Turkoglu is struggling to overcome an ankle injury as well. In the Raptors last two contests, Turkoglu has played just 28 minutes a game, and scored just 12 points total. They’ll certainly need a better effort from him on Saturday night.
As for Golden State, they come into this game off of a brutal stretch, as they’ve now lost all six games they’ve played in the month of March. There is hope however, as star Monta Ellis returned from an injury of his own on Thursday night against Portland, scoring 17 points in abbreviated action.
The biggest problem for Golden State all year, is that they’re simply the worst defensive team in the NBA. Nobody is even close. On the year they rank dead last in points allowed (111), opponents rebounding totals (47 a game) and opponents field goal percentage (48 percent). Those numbers aren’t going to allow you to beat very many teams in the NBA.
However, I do believe it will lead to a win in the betting odds on Saturday. The truth is that Toronto has simply been an enigma since the All-Star break, and is slowly sliding down the Eastern Conference standings. One has to wonder, how they’re going to slow down Golden State’s high-scoring offense, when they gave up 113 points on Wednesday to a scoring-challenged Sacramento Kings team.
Golden State may not win a lot of games, but they thrive in situations like this: Struggling teams that see them as an “easy,” win to end a losing streak. It won’t happen Saturday. Take the Warriors in the NBA betting odds.
Aaron’s Pick: Golden State ATS
