NBA Betting Preview – LeBron vs. Wade!

Bookmark and Share by Tim Furious

LeBron is coming off a huge, 36-point performance in a revenge match against Orlando. He’ll get another chance to prove he is the dominant figure of the Eastern Conference where he takes on a surprising Heat team spearheaded by friend and foe, Dwyane Wade. This will be a game that every basketball fan on the planet will be tuned in to, so make it interesting for yourself by throwing down in the BetUS Sportsbook. Let’s break this one down…

The Cavs are averaging 95.4 points per game, but the presence of a lumbering and stumbling Shaquille O’Neal has hurt heir defense. They rank 8th overall with 90.3 points allowed, which is a far cry from the top-5 ranking that they used to hold. Shaq has not played in back-to-back games all that well in the past three seasons, and banging with Dwight Howard won’t leave him all that useful to a rested Jermaine O’Neal. The Heat rank third in overall defense with just 88.6 points allowed per game.

This is a game that stars Wade and LeBron will shine in. While LeBron and Shaq are just starting to find their groove, Wade is proving he’ll be worth every penny next year by averaging 29.9 points per game. But it’s the same old story for the Heat. Wade is more than doubling the next guy on the points-per-game column. O’Neal has 13.4 a game and Beasley has lowered his average to just 12.4 points per.

Cleveland Cavaliers (5-3) vs. Miami Heat (6-1)

Thursday, November 12th --- AmericanAirlines Arena, Miami --- 8:00pm EST
NBA Betting Line: Pick ‘Em (180)

The Cavs are just 2-10 SU when they play in South Beach, and despite a 6-1 SU record in their last 7 meetings, you have to wonder if an exhilarating win over Orlando might take its toll on a tired Cavs team. Miami has been at home since last Friday, and have posted two wins since over Denver and Washington. They’ve also been dominating the betting line.

Despite Wade’s lack of support, he almost always shows up to play when he’s pitted against LeBron. The Cavs are just 14th in road scoring with 99.3 points per game and while Miami doesn’t have the depth and the scoring power of the Cavs, they are rested and will ride Wade all the way to a straight up victory in the UNDER.
