NBA Finals Betting Preview - Cleveland Cavs vs Golden State Warriors - Game 1

Game 2 of the NBA Finals between Golden State and Cleveland will go down Thursday at 9:00 PM ET.

The Cleveland Cavaliers had to win two playoff series in the postseason on the road. They eliminated the top-seeded Raptors in a sweep, and took down Boston in 7 games. They also went 7 games in the first round, defeating the Indiana Pacers. Cleveland has now eliminated the Celtics in back-to-back Eastern Conference Finals.

The Warriors cruised through the playoffs until they met Houston, who took them to 7, where they combined good basketball with good luck. They enter Thursday's game as 11 point favorites.

Cavaliers Starters

With Kevin Love out, Cleveland will likely start Jeff Green at power forward. He was great in the last two games vs Houston. Green will be joined by Tristan Thompson in the paint. Kyle Korver and J.R. Smith will join the King LeBron James in the lineup. George Hill has been great for Cleveland since coming over, along with Larry Nance and Jordan Clarkson.

LeBron has been an absolute stud for the Cavaliers. He could easily be the MVP this season, but that distinction seems to be going to James Harden. LeBron is playing in the NBA Finals for the 8th straight season, which is unbelievable.

Warriors Elite Roster

The Golden State Warriors could go down as one of the best teams in NBA history. They're seeking their third title in four seasons. The good news for Golden State is getting former Finals MVP Andre Iguodala back in the mix. He's a great addition off the bench for the Warriors. Iguodala and Shaun Livingston continue to bring great value to Steve Kerr's team.

The Warriors have four All-Stars in Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson. It really doesn't get better than that in the present day NBA. The Cavs will have their hands full in this series.

Golden State Wins Game 1
The Warriors are monster favorites, and there's good reason for it. They're just too tough and too loaded. Cleveland just doesn't have the pieces to keep up with this super team. The Cavs are not a great defensive team and now they're facing a team with four All-Stars. Game 1 will be a blowout. Bet the Golden State Warriors -11 over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday.
