NBA Finals Betting Preview - Golden State Warriors vs Cleveland Cavs - Game 4

Whether he's the GOAT or not - LeBron James is about ready to fall to 3-6 in the NBA Finals. The Cleveland Cavaliers are one loss away from being eliminated in the NBA Finals for the second straight season, and third time in four years. On the other side, the Golden State Warriors are 1 win away from winning their third title in the same amount of time. The Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors meet up on Friday for Game 4. The Golden State Warriors are -5.5 over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Kevin Durant was the man in Game 3. After a terrible Game 1 and a solid Game 2, he was fantastic. Durant scored a game-high 43 points in the win. The impressive part for Durant was scoring that on just 23 shots. Durant was perfect at the free throw line as well. Golden State made 52% from the field and only turned the ball over 11 times in the win.

Durant is now in the mix for the NBA Finals MVP. The Warriors are loaded, like they have been for four seasons now. Steph Curry was 1-10 from three-point land in the loss. Klay Thompson also struggled, scoring just 10 points. Andre Iguodala came back and added 8 points in 22 minutes. Shaun Livingston missed his first shot of the NBA Finals.

The loss spoiled another great performance from LeBron, who scored 33 points. The Cavaliers had an impressive first quarter, and even led the game at halftime. One thing Cleveland did well in Game 3 was rebound, as they grabbed 15 more boards than the Warriors. But when push came to shove, the Cavaliers could not slow down KD and the Golden State offense.

Cleveland is going to have to find a way to guard Durant and the Warriors. Offensively, Cleveland saw four players score double figures. Rodney Hood put up 15 points in 26 minutes off the bench. J.R. Smith had one of his best games of the series with 13 points. Kevin Love put up another double double with 20 points and 13 rebounds.

LeBron James has to win ONE game in this series, right? Game 3 was for the taking, and Cleveland could not get it done. That was due in large part to Kevin Durant. Can anyone on the Cavaliers guard Durant? It doesn't appear so. Despite another big game from Durant, LeBron is not going to let his team get swept in the Finals, right? We are betting no. The Cavs are underdogs, and once again - we are going to take them. Cleveland avoids the sweep and takes the series back to Golden State. Take the Cavs +5.5 in Game 4.
