Tonight’s Western Conference showdown between the Denver Nuggets is going to have a playoff atmosphere from the very start, as the Nuggets are currently playing their best basketball of the season.

The teams have met three times this season with Utah winning twice, but each team winning alternately, meaning it’s Denver’s turn again.

Not only that, but the Nuggets are hot right now, going 12-5 in their last 17 games overall as each Nugget seems to finally be adjusting to their newest teammate, Allen Iverson.

The Jazz aren’t playing particularly well right now and enter this game riding a four-game losing streak.

I know Jazz coach Jerry Sloan is a certified genius, but I am absolutely certain the Nuggets are going to come out with fire in their eyes. Marcus Camby is playing like a man possessed right now, blocking shots and rebounding like a rejuvenated 20-year-old.

Look for A.I. and ‘Melo to each shoot for the 30-point plateau once again. Oh, did I mention that the Jazz are 2-14-1 ATS in their last 17 games overall?
