NBA Picks – Jazz at Warriors Game 3

Bookmark and Share by Jeremy Allingham

This has been an absolutely fantastic series so far, but Warrior fans are stressing that their club has been unable to come up clutch and finish down the stretch. Jazz in the first two games, whether it be at the defensive end or from the free throw line, but have failed to pick up a much-needed road victory.

The Warriors MUST be stronger on the boards, shore up their big-stop defense and clutch up from the free throw line if they expect to get back in the series. The Jazz have to continue to play their game - at a controlled pace, hitting open shots, crashing the boards and playing tough defense.

Anyone attending game three in Oakland should look into purchasing a pair of earplugs (industrial strength preferably) because it’s going to be freaking loud. Golden State fans are hungry for a win and will be raucous, rowdy, out of control, maybe even insane. Check your ears.

With the Warriors facing the dreaded 3-0 hole, they’ll be playing with their lives at stake. Baron Davis will have to play out of his mind like he has for much of the postseason, and his supporting cast will also have to come up big. The Warriors’ inside game will have to get tougher in order to limit Utah’s second chance points.

The rebounding has been perfectly lopsided in this one with the Jazz out-boarding the Warriors 114-68 in the first two games. Despite the massive rebounding deficit, there’s no stopping the Warriors in their first home game of the second round. You can bet on the Warriors or Jazz at the BetUS.com Sportsbook, where Golden State is a 6-point favorite.

You can also pick up the Warriors to come back and win the series at +260.

Jazz lead series: 2-0
