Denver Nuggets (39-22)
The Portland Trail Blazers and Denver Nuggets are very similar team, which should make Thursday night’s game an exciting one for sports betting handicappers to watch.
The Trail Blazers escaped with a win on Wednesday night and snapped a nine-game losing streak to theDetroit as star forward Carmelo Anthony sat out with a one-game suspension.
The Blazers are just 13-17 on the road while the Nuggets are 22-7 at home. The Nuggets have been a home favorite of 6.5 to nine points seven times this season and they have yet to lose (5-1-1 against the spread).
The Nuggets have lost two straight and five of their last seven while the Blazers have won six of their last eight.
The Blazers are just 1-6 both straight up and against the spread in a road game where the total is between 195 and 199.5, which isn’t a good indicator.
The Nuggets have dominated this series, particularly at home, going 4-1 against the Blazers in the last three years and 18-6 since 1996.
Look for the Nuggets to get a big performance from Anthony, who will be back from suspension, en route to a win over the Blazers.
