Pro Basketball Betting News - NBA Week 21 Hot or Not List - The Gang’s All Here for NBA Bettors

Bookmark and Share by Eric Williams

Devoted NBA pro basketball betting lovers have a plethora of teams to peruse over with this look at my week 21 NBA hot or not list.

That’s right roundball bettors, ‘the gang’s all here’ heading into week 21, with a multitude of teams making both lists – and giving NBA gamblers more excellent wagering options than ever as the 2009-10 regular season steamrolls toward a fast and furious finish.

With that thought in mind, let me get started with this week’s look at the hottest – and coldest – ATS teams in the NBA.

Hot
These teams have covered the NBA point spread in at least four of the last five games.

San Antonio 7-0 ATS
The Spurs (33-30-1 ATS) have heated up nicely the last couple of weeks, both straight up and against the spread. San Antonio has won eight of 10 while recording a blistering 7-0 ARS record over their last six games,

New Jersey 6-0 ATS
I know the Nets (28-37-1 ATS) have only been able too record one SU win in their last six games, but they’re literally one of the hottest team in the league when it comes to covering the spread these days. The Nets have struck pay dirt for pro basketball betting enthusiasts in six consecutive games

Charlotte 5-1 ATS
Led by their league-leading ‘lockdown’ defense, the Bobcats (39-26 ATS) have made a charge as of late, winning six straight games while going a blistering 5-1 ATS. Charlotte has held their opponent to 90 points or less in five of the last six games.

Oklahoma City 4-1 ATS
The Oklahoma City Thunder (39-26 ATS) have kept up their terrific act all season long and are clearly a legitimate threat to do some damage in the Western Conference playoffs. KD and company have been one of the most profitable teams in the league this season.

Milwaukee 4-1 ATS
I don’t care who you are. If you like pro basketball, then you’ve got to love the Milwaukee Bucks (44-22-1 ATS) and their league-leading ATS record.

The exciting Bucks are proving themselves to be a legitimate threat in the Eastern Conference, having won nine of their last 10 games while recording fantastic wins over the Cavaliers, Celtics and Jazz in consecutive contests.

Golden State 4-1 ATS
The Warriors (37-37-1 ATS) and their wacky way of playing the game may not produce a lot of actual on-court victories, but their up-tempo, small-ball style sure produces a lot of paydays.

Indiana 4-1 ATS
I’m not going to mince words. The Pacers (30-36 ATS) have been beyond disappointing this season – they’re downright disgusting. Despite their ATS-winning ways recently, I say it’s time for head coach Jim O’Brien to hit the road Jack.

Miami 4-1 ATS
The Miami Heat (34-33 ATS) have won six of their last seven games, but I just keep thinking that Dwyane Wade is Michael Jackson playing with a bunch of ‘Tito’s’.

Not
These teams have dropped at least four of their last five games against the spread.

New Orleans 0-7 ATS
The Hornets (30-36-1 ATS) have lost seven of their last eight games while failing to cover the NBA betting odds in seven consecutive games. Nevertheless, rookie point guard Darren Collison has been an absolute revelation.

Chicago 0-7 ATS
The Bulls (30-33-2 ATS) have fallen apart in their bid to secure a postseason berth in the Eastern Conference, losing seven straight games while failing to strike pay dirt in any game.

Minnesota 0-4-1 ATS
I could tell you how I really feel about the incompetent Minnesota Timberwolves (32-34-1 ATS) but you can’t write four-letter words in print, so I won’t go there. The T-Wolves have lost nine straight games while going 0-4-1 ATS over the last five and 1-6-1 over their last eight games overall.

Toronto 1-4 ATS
The Raptors (29-36 ATS) are another team that has faded in a major way recently. Toronto has lost five straight games and nine of 10 overall while going 0-3 ATS over the last three games and a bankroll-breaking 1-9 ATS over the last 10 games overall.

Cleveland 1-4 ATS
The Cavaliers (33-33-1 ATS) may be one of the best teams in all of basketball this season, but they have been average at best against the spread this season. At least the Cavs snapped their four-game ATS losing streak against the reeling Celtics on Sunday.

Clippers 1-4 ATS
The Clippers (29-37-1 ATS) have lost seven straight games while failing to cover the NBA betting line in six of those contests. It’s the Clippers people, what do you expect?

Atlanta 1-4 ATS
The Hawks(37-28 ATS) snapped a four-game ATS losing streak by beating the lowly Pistons on Saturday,  but pro basketball betting enthusiasts should know the Hawks have gone a disappointing 3-7 ATS over their last 10 games.
