In one of the best games played in recent times, No. 8 Kansas Jayhawks beat No. 4 Oklahoma Cowboys 81-79 with John Lucas missing a 3-pointer just before the buzzer. Both teams shot at least 59% (Kansas at 66%), with some great individual performances like Wayne Simien with a career-high 32 points and 12 rebounds. With this win, Kansas takes over first place in the Big 12, a game in front of the Cowboys.
