BetUS NCAA college basketball betting odds: NEBRASKA -2, Total 134.5
The Missouri Tigers (16-15 SU, 8-16-1 ATS) in the wrong direction on Thursday night in a quarterfinal game of the Big 12 Conference tournament that tips off at 7 PM ET at the Sprint Center in Kansas City.
In the BetUS NCAA college basketball betting odds, Nebraska is listed as a two-point favorite, with a total of 134.5 points.
Here are some of the NCAA college basketball betting trends as they relate to this matchup:
* MIZZ has lost its last six games ATS
* MIZZ has lost 10 of its last 15 games SU
* MIZZ has played eight of its last ten games OVER the total
* NEB has won four of its last six games SU
* NEB has covered five of its last six games
* NEB has won and covered four of the last five meetings
* MIZZ has had the shooting edge in each of the last three meetings
* NEB has had the rebounding edge in each of the last seven meetings
Nebraska certainly hopes that Cookie Miller, the point guard who hasn't scored a point since February 23, can contribute some more after returning from a shoulder injury. But hey - Missouri is in worse shape without its floor leader, Stefhon Hannah, who was dismissed from the team after a multitude of problems.
Nebraska has been a pretty tough defensive team all year, yielding just 38% shooting (tied for seventh best in the nation), and began to find its shooting eye toward the end, turning in 50% or better against Colorado.
The Huskers have the better big man in this one - Aleks Maric, who went to the line 14 times in scoring a season-high 32 points against the Tigers back on February 13. This is a tough assignment for Missouri, which has been without on-court chemistry without Hannah's considerable abilities.
And this number is very manageable for NCAA basketball betting odds.
