March Madness Betting - Who's Dancing as a Number 1 Seed
by Robby Maddux

Amateurs of the online online betting group started tuning in last week to watch the little guys attempt to make the Big Dance by winning small-time conference tournaments only to be swallowed up by the higher seeds in a short-lived March.
Though, the short-lived stay of a No. 15 or 16 seed in the NCAA tournament is something like being a drop of paint on a Picasso or a backstage roadie for The Rolling Stones. Of course, they're just pieces to a puzzle but to the lowest of seeds, appearing in March Madness is a masterpiece putting them in the spotlight, despite knowing a spanking is probably on its way in a lopsided loss. No. 16 seeds are 0-96 in the tournament's history straight up and No. 15 seeds are 4-92 in the first round. Still, a chance to dance is better than watching as a spectator.
It's easy for college basketball wagering fans supporting powerhouses such as the Duke's of the hoop's world to punch their tickets even before a season begins, because making the NCAA tournament is expected. For these big programs winning its respective conference tournament is nice and usually just a tune up for the dance, but never the ultimate prize.
So who will be the No. 1 Goliaths taking on the Davids? It's hard to imagine North Carolina, NCAA basketball odds on favorites to win the conference title priced at +120.
Providence who downed DePaul 83-74 on Wednesday afternoon in the opening round.
Michigan State, five fewer than Oklahoma, four fewer than Louisville and three fewer than Duke.
As for the Davids, here's who all fit the bill and is locked into the NCAA tournament: Western Kentucky (Sun Belt).
If you bet on college basketball and looking for 'futures' sports wagering action on conference tournament play, here's the tournaments yet to tip-off along with the odds on favorite to win each as listed at BetUS:
