ACC Power Poll - Lay the Cash with Florida State

COLLEGE BASKETBALL BETTING – ACC Power Poll
The Noles continue to reward CBB bettors at ACC Power Poll, and the following breaks apart the rest of the conferences efforts on the hardwood from last week.
1: March Madness before this week, wins over Miami and Virginia Tech squashed that. The Noles will be dancing come March for the first time since 1998, but now have their sights set on a high seed. They’ve covered six out of eight, and put that on the line this week against a BC team that is in desperate need of a victory.
This Week: Away @ Boston College, Home vs. Clemson
2: North Carolina State Wolfpack (12-7-1 ATS, 15-10 SU) (7-4-1 ATS, 5-7 SU in ACC) (LW: 2) The Wolfpack played their collective hearts out in Chapel Hill, but still suffered an 89-80 loss in the middle of the week. NCSU’s four-game cover streak came to a halt against the Cavs on Saturday, but the squad is still in a position to make the field of 65 with wins in three of its final four games. The Pack are working on a three-game cover streak on the road in conference.
This Week: Away @ Wake Forest, Home vs. Maryland
3: online betting upset, but neither opponent should give Wake any problems this week.
This Week: Home vs. North Carolina State, Away @ Virginia
4: Maryland Terrapins (10-7-2 ATS, 17-9 SU) (6-5 ATS, 6-6 SU in ACC) (LW: 4) The Terps got blown out mid-week by the Tigers at Littlejohn, but came back with a vengeance and beat #3 North Carolina 88-85 to keep their NCAA Tournament hopes alive. That’s three straight covers in College Park for Maryland, which could mean more bad news for a struggling bunch of Dookies.
This Week: Home vs. Duke, Away @ North Carolina State
5: Clemson Tigers (22-4, 11-9-1 ATS), (7-4-1 ATS, 8-4 SU in ACC) (LW: 7) The Tigers are very quietly putting together a resume worthy of a #2 seed in the dance. It wasn’t pretty, but they took out G-Tech 81-73 in Atlanta for its sixth cover in its L/8 attempts. This week should pit a pair of strong trends against each other, as a 6-3-1 ATS road record of Clemson heads to Tallahassee to do battle with a strong Florida State team.
This Week: Home vs. Virginia Tech, Away @ Florida State
6: Miami Hurricanes (11-9-1 ATS, 16-10 SU) (7-5-1 ATS, 5-8 SU in ACC) (LW: 6) Miami had to battle with a pair of bubble teams this week, and split the proceedings. The win over BC stopped a three-game losing skid. With just three games left on the schedule, the Canes reasonably need at least two wins to make the field of 65. The next two are on the road though, which is bad news for a team that’s lost all but one game on the conference road this year.
This Week: Away @ Virginia
7: Boston College Eagles (12-11 ATS, 19-9 SU) (6-7 ATS, 7-6 SU in ACC) (LW: 5) The Eagles aren’t quite out of the woods as of yet. At 19-9, there is still work to be done for BC to get into the NCAA Tournament, and a 69-58 loss at Miami didn’t help that cause any. With losses in three of their L/4 overall, the Eagles badly need to beat a hot FSU squad to avoid a total collapse down the stretch.
This Week: Home vs. Florida State
8: Virginia Cavaliers (9-9 ATS, 9-14 SU) (7-5 ATS, 3-9 SU in ACC) (LW: 10) The Hoos enter the Top-8 sports betting teams in the ACC for the first time this season after covering against both V-Tech and NC State last week. That’s three straight and four out of five covers for a team that was left for dead several weeks ago. The Cavs may have busted the Hokies’ bubble last week, and might be able to do the same to the Canes this week.
This Week: Home vs. Miami, Home vs. Wake Forest
And the rest…
9: Duke Blue Devils (12-13-1 ATS, 22-5 SU) (5-8 ATS, 9-4 SU in ACC) (LW: 8)
10: Virginia Tech Hokies (8-13 ATS, 16-10 SU) (4-8 ATS, 6-6 SU in ACC) (LW: 9)
11: North Carolina Tar Heels (10-15 ATS, 24-3 SU) (4-9 ATS, 10-3 SU in ACC) (LW: 11)
12: Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (7-14 ATS, 10-16 SU) (3-8 ATS, 1-11 SU in ACC) (LW: 12)
