College Basketball Betting – Ivy League Power Poll
by Mike Rose

The Ivy League CBB betting season is coming to a close, and this is how the “brainiacs” fared throughout last week’s action at BetUS.com:
1: Princeton Tigers (11-6 ATS, 12-12 SU) (6-5 ATS, 7-4 SU in Ivy League) (LW: 4) The Tigers made their move last week, beating both Yale and Brown to put themselves in a position to steal the Ivy League’s bid to the dance. There are only road games left on the schedule for Princeton, where it is 5-2 ATS this season. With a win over Columbia next week, the game against Cornell should be for the title.
This Week: Away @ Columbia, Away @ Cornell
2: Big Dance. Still, it’s a mathematical possibility for Dartmouth to go dancing, but it’s going to take wins both at Yale and Brown and a lot of help.
This Week: Away @ Yale, Away @ Brown
3: NCAA Tournament at Harvard, but were dropped by the Crimson 71-70 in heartbreaking fashion. The good news is that its tournament birth should be punched at home, but a loss to Penn will make things mighty interesting with the bid on the line against the Tigers.
This Week: Home vs. Penn, Home vs. Princeton
4: Yale Bulldogs (9-6 ATS, 12-14 SU) (6-5 ATS, 7-5 SU in Ivy League) (LW: 3) Yale still has a slim chance to claim the hotly contested Ivy League bid as well. Friday’s game with Dartmouth is a de facto elimination game, as the winner will be a big Princeton fan when they square off against Cornell. That should create a mess at five conference losses. Don’t underestimate Harvard’s ability to beat Yale though, as the Crimson upset the Big Red last week.
This Week: Home vs. Dartmouth, Home vs. Harvard
5: Basketball betting fans really never got a good look at the Lions at home this year, as they’re only 3-2 ATS in front of the hometown faithful.
This Week: Home vs. Princeton, Home vs. Penn
6: Harvard Crimson (7-10-1 ATS, 13-13 SU) (5-7 ATS, 5-7 SU in Ivy League) (LW: 7) The Crimson ended up playing the role of spoiler against Cornell in their quest to clinch the Ivy League crown. They’ve won three straight games and covered five straight, so they’re worth keeping an eye on this week.
This Week: Away @ Brown, Away @ Yale
7: college basketball betting line. They’ve covered and won three straight on the road, which could be bad news for a Cornell team that looks determined to go dancing for the second year in a row.
This Week: Away @ Cornell, Away @ Columbia
8: Brown Bears (4-14 ATS, 7-19 SU) (3-9 ATS, 1-11 SU in Ivy League) (LW: 8) Well, at least the season is almost over… Brown has dropped four straight games SU and ATS and really got pummeled in each of the contests. The team hasn’t scored more than 63 points since January 10th, and the unit ranks 309th in the country. A 1-6 ATS home mark will look to be improved upon this weekend.
This Week: Home vs. Harvard, Home vs. Dartmouth
